    Abstract

    The device (1) has gripping units i.e. hooks (10, 12), where one of the gripping units grips an internal organ and the other gripping unit mounts the device to a desired location. The device is mountable to an interior of an abdominal wall (46). The gripping units are moved from an inactive delivery configuration to an active gripping configuration and from the inactive configuration to the active configuration, respectively. The device comprises a movable section that is operated by an instrument to move the section between configurations for the gripping units.
